The Research & Development Team

Day to day running of the Trust and its activities is undertaken by a team of staff employed by the RPSGB and seconded to the Trust:

 

Dr Sue Ambler
Director, Pharmacy Practice Research Trust & Head of Research & Development, RPSGB
Key responsibilities include:
  • Give direction to the formulation, and leadership to the achievement, of the Trust's philosophy, objectives, strategies and annual targets.
  • Management and administration of the organisation in the execution of the Board of Trustees' policies.
  • Together with the Chair, enable the Board of Trustees to fulfil its functions and to ensure that the Board receives appropriate advice and information.
Linda Sheldrake - Research Strategy Co-ordinator
Key responsibilities include:
  • Commissioning and management of research from the Trust and Society's strategies
  • Research lead on workforce and multiprofessional practice
  • Assist with Pharmacy Practice Research Trust research management and annual review
  • Research advice and guidance
Beth Allen - Research Programme Co-ordinator
Key responsibilities include:
  • Commissioning of research, contracting and day-to-day project management
  • Administering the Practice Research Awards and Bursary Scheme
  • Coordination of the Pharmacy Practice Research Trust activities
  • Trust governance and financial accounting
  • Lead on research capacity building
Brad McConachie - Senior Administrator
(maternity cover)
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the Trust Director's diary
  • Assisting the Trust Director with discrete projects
  • Assisting the Research Strategy and Programme Co-ordinators with commissioning and day-to-day management of research
Lisa Williamson - Team Administrator
(long term sick cover)
Key responsibilities include:
  • Administrative support to the Pharmacy Practice Research Trust
