AHRC and ESRC Collaborative PhDs

Calls for applications have now closed. An announcement regarding the successful applicants will be made in the latter half of 2008.

The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust is inviting academic PhD supervisors to submit expressions of interest for working up a collaborative application with the Trust for submission in November 2008, either for an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Collaborative Doctoral Award or an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) CASE Studentship. Expressions of interest must be completed and submitted by academic departments by 2 June 2008.

Professionalism in Pharmacy Practice

Calls for applications have now closed. An announcement regarding the successful applicants will be made in the latter half of 2008.

The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust has made available a total sum of £60,000 to undertake research in relation to the teaching, assessment and practice of professionalism in pharmacy. For the full commissioning brief and application form please click on the links below:

 

Multiprofessional Practice Grants - Building the evidence base for pharmacy in public health or in the care of patients with long-term conditions

Calls for applications have now closed. An announcement regarding the successful applicants will be made in the latter half of 2008.

The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust has made available a total sum of £80,000 to undertake research to develop and/or evaluate collaborative practice projects. Funding is available for small-medium projects in the following areas:

  • Multidisciplinary service development/evaluation for patients with long-term conditions
  • Multidisciplinary service development/evaluation in public health
