Investigating the effectiveness of pharmacist intervention in:
1) The Management of Long Term Conditions
2) Public Health
3) The Treatment of Minor Ailments
THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS TO THIS CALL HAS NOW PASSED
The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust (the Trust) is inviting applications for a research project to investigate the effectiveness of pharmacy interventions in one of three areas; the management of long term conditions (LTCs), public health or the treatment of minor ailments.
Although some evidence of the effectiveness of pharmacist intervention in these three areas exists, it tends to be exploratory in nature and relatively small scale. The PPRT would like to see systematic reviews of this evidence and the conduct of multi-site trials to further investigate pharmacist intervention in these areas.
The deadline for reciept of applications is close of business on the 14th May 2010
