Awards totalling £139,000 have been announced by the Pharmacy Practice Research Trust for its 2009 Practice Research Awards and Research Training Bursaries.

Potential funding for a project of up to £30,000 is available to undertake a project on professionalism among newly qualified pharmacists or those in first or second year of practice.
The Trust is increasing the opportunities for community pharmacists who are interested in developing their pharmacy practice research skills to apply for a research training bursary. There will now be two calls for applications for a bursary during the year and the first has just been announced.
